20 Restaurant Website Examples and What Each One Does Well

By MarketingToolsProHub Editorial Team  |  Last updated:  |  13 min read

What do good restaurant website examples have in common?

The restaurant websites below make the next step obvious: a menu you can read on a phone, a booking or ordering button near the top, opening hours and an address, and pages for gift cards and private events. We checked 20 live sites in the US, UK, Europe, Canada and Australia, and list what each one does well.

In brief
  • The 20 sites: 10 in the US, 4 in the UK, 3 elsewhere in Europe (Denmark, the Netherlands and Belgium), 2 in Australia and 1 in Canada, grouped by menus, booking, ordering and delivery, and events, gift cards and multiple locations.
  • Seven sites publish menus as web pages and three link PDF menus (Kuma's Corner offers both). For the other 11, we either couldn't confirm the menu format or didn't see a food menu.
  • Booking runs through SevenRooms (3 sites), Resy (2), OpenTable (2), Tock, DoorDash and Zenchef (1 each), or a form on the site itself (1). Six more have a booking button without a named platform.
  • A comparison table shows which features we saw on each site, and a checklist turns them into steps for your own website.
  • Every example was checked on 24 October 2026. We describe only what we saw, not how well each site performs.

Which restaurant websites make booking a table easy?

These sites put a booking button at the top of the page and link it to their reservation platform, so a guest can book without hunting.

6. Eleven Madison Park

New York, US · Fine dining

Seen on the site: a "Book on Resy" button plus a Reservations link in the navigation; a gift cards page; an events page; the address on the page. The phone number is plain text, and the PDF on the homepage is the wine list, not the food menu.

Copy this: repeat the booking link in the navigation, so it's there on every page, not only the homepage.

7. Bresca

Washington, DC, US · Contemporary bistro

Seen on the site: an OpenTable button plus an embedded "Find A Table" widget; Toast gift cards; a private events page; hours, address and a tap-to-call link.

Copy this: an embedded date-and-time picker lets guests check availability without leaving your site.

8. Noma

Copenhagen, Denmark · Fine dining

Seen on the site: a "Book a table" button through Tock; hours and address on the page; a phone number with the hours the phone line is answered.

Copy this: if staff only answer the phone at set times, say so next to the number.

Noma's homepage still carries its "coming home" message; Globetrender reported on 4 September 2026 that Noma reopened in Copenhagen in August 2026.

9. Attica

Ripponlea (Melbourne), Australia · Fine dining

Seen on the site: a "Book a table" button with a waiting list; a gift vouchers page; hours, address and a tap-to-call link; an events page.

Copy this: when you're often full, a waiting list keeps the guest on your site instead of sending them elsewhere.

10. Pastaria

Clayton (St. Louis), US · Casual Italian

Seen on the site: an OpenTable reservation button; Toast online ordering; Toast gift cards; hours, address and a tap-to-call link; a link to its events and catering site.

Copy this: put booking, ordering and gift cards side by side, so each guest picks their own next step.

If you're choosing a booking platform, our comparison of OpenTable alternatives sets out their published fees.

Which restaurant websites handle online ordering and delivery?

These sites take orders through their own ordering pages or link straight to delivery apps, and one also ships nationwide.

11. Loro Asian Smokehouse & Bar

Houston, Dallas and Austin, US · Casual dining, several locations

Seen on the site: online takeout through its own takeout site (Toast for one location); Uber Eats, DoorDash and Goldbelly links; a gift cards page; a catering and events page. It says plainly that it doesn't take reservations.

Copy this: if you don't take bookings, say so on the homepage. It answers a common question before anyone calls.

12. Kuma's Corner

Chicago and Schaumburg, IL, and Indianapolis, US · Burger bar, several locations

Seen on the site: a menu web page plus a PDF full menu; online ordering; Toast gift cards; reservation links through DoorDash; location addresses and a tap-to-call link in the footer.

Copy this: offer a printable PDF as an extra, next to a menu web page, not instead of it.

13. Tartine Bakery

San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles, US · Bakery and café, several locations

Seen on the site: a location picker for online ordering; nationwide shipping through Goldbelly; Toast gift cards; holiday pre-orders.

Copy this: ask for the location first, so orders reach the right kitchen.

14. Sweetcheeks Q

Boston, US · Casual barbecue

Seen on the site: a reservation button; "Order Takeout" through Toast; a gift cards button; an events and catering page; hours, address and a tap-to-call link on the homepage.

Copy this: keep hours, address and phone on the homepage, so regulars don't need a second click.

15. Bavet

Ghent, Antwerp, Brussels, Leuven and other cities in Belgium · Spaghetti bar, several locations

Seen on the site: a menu web page with the dishes written as text, plus an allergen list as a PDF; links to three delivery apps (Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Thuisbezorgd); a locations page listing 14 restaurants with their addresses and per-location take-out and delivery links, plus "Book a table" buttons for 11 of them that open a Zenchef booking widget; a loyalty app. The site is in English, Dutch and French.

Copy this: if guests order through delivery apps, name each app on your own site and give every location its own ordering and booking links, so orders go to the nearest kitchen.

Ordering from your own site is one way to cut marketplace fees. Our guide on reducing delivery app commissions covers the rest.

Which examples show private events, gift cards and several locations?

Private dining and gift cards are extra sales a website can take without a phone call, and restaurant groups need a clear path to each location.

16. Sono Japanese Restaurant (Portside)

Hamilton (Brisbane), Australia · Japanese and teppanyaki

Seen on the site: a SevenRooms reservations button; a gift cards page; private dining and events pages; detailed hours, address and a tap-to-call link; a surcharge notice on the page.

Copy this: state surcharges on the website before guests book, so the bill isn't a surprise.

17. Brasserie Blanc

London, Oxford, Cheltenham, Leeds and other UK towns · Brasserie, several locations

Seen on the site: a "Book Now" button; gift vouchers; a private dining page; seasonal Christmas 2026 menus.

Copy this: publish seasonal menus early, so guests planning parties find them on your site.

18. 1NUL8 Meent

Rotterdam, Netherlands · Casual dining

Seen on the site: PDF lunch and dinner menus; "Reserveer" (book) buttons; a sushi box ordering page; a gift card page; a groups and private events page; hours and address. The site is in Dutch.

Copy this: a single take-home product, here a sushi box, can have its own ordering page without a full delivery menu.

19. Hawksmoor

London, Manchester, Liverpool and Edinburgh, UK · Steakhouse, several locations

Seen on the site: menu web pages for each location; a "Book a Table" page; a gift card shop; a private dining page with an inquiry form; the addresses of its restaurants.

Copy this: give every location its own menu page when menus differ between sites.

20. Ottolenghi

London, Edinburgh and Bicester, UK, plus Geneva and Amsterdam · Deli and restaurant group

Seen on the site: SevenRooms "Book a table" buttons for its locations; delivery ordering through Slerp and an online shop; gift vouchers; an address and phone number for every location.

Copy this: list each location's own phone number, so guests reach the right team.

Our guides to websites for restaurants with several locations, private events pages and selling gift cards online go deeper on each.

How do these 20 restaurant websites compare?

The table shows which features we saw on each site's pages on 24 October 2026. "Not seen" means we didn't find it on the pages we checked, not that the restaurant doesn't offer it. In total we saw online ordering on 10 sites, gift cards or vouchers on 17, and an events, private dining or catering page on 15.

"Not confirmed" means the site links a menu, but we couldn't confirm from our check whether it's a web page or a PDF.

What can you copy from these examples for your own restaurant?

Take the patterns, not the designs or photos. Each of these steps appears on at least one of the 20 sites above:

  1. One main button near the top: "Book a table" if you take reservations, "Order online" if takeout matters more, or both side by side.
  2. Menus as web pages, split by meal or time of day, with a printable PDF only as an extra.
  3. Hours, address and a tap-to-call phone number on the homepage or footer. Three well-known sites above (Quince, Eleven Madison Park and Noma) show the number as plain text, which a phone can't dial in one tap.
  4. A gift cards link in the navigation or footer, all year, not only in December.
  5. A private dining or events page with an inquiry form, if you host groups.
  6. Answers before questions: "we don't take reservations", phone-line hours, surcharges and waiting lists, written on the page.
  7. A page for each location with its own menu, phone and booking link, if you run more than one restaurant.

Common mistakes to check on your own site: booking links with an old date built into the address, PDF-only menus, and phone numbers that aren't tappable. Test every button on a phone after each change.

What does a restaurant website with these features cost?

It depends on whether you connect tools you already use (Resy, OpenTable, Toast, a gift card provider) or need booking or ordering built in.

With us, a restaurant website with web-page menus and your existing booking, ordering and gift card tools connected starts at $5,000 (Custom Business Website). With a booking system built in, it's our Website + Booking System from $7,500; restaurant groups with several locations and integrations often fit our Custom Digital System, from $10,000+. You get a fixed written quote after a free discovery call, it typically takes around 2 months, and you own the website, code, domain and content once paid.

These are approximate figures based on published pricing at the time of writing. Your actual cost depends on your scope and will be confirmed after a free discovery call with us.

A do-it-yourself website builder is the cheapest way to try some of these ideas, though you'll set up the booking and ordering tools yourself. Wix plans run from about $17 to $39 a month billed annually (Light to Business) and Squarespace plans from about $19 to $49 a month (Basic to Plus), as reported by Website Builder Expert for US plans in 2026. Our breakdown of small business website costs sets builders against freelancers and agencies over three years.

Our restaurant website cost guide compares builders, restaurant platforms and custom builds. See it in action: our restaurant website demo (a demo, not a client project) shows a menu as a real web page, a booking flow and a private dining inquiry on a phone.

Frequently asked questions

Use it for ideas, not as a template. Copying another restaurant's text, photos or logo can infringe their rights, so have your own photos and words.

We didn't check how each site was built. Booking and ordering run through platforms such as Resy, OpenTable, SevenRooms, Tock, Zenchef and Toast whichever way the site itself is made.

No. Start with a readable menu, hours, address, a tappable phone number and one main booking or ordering button, then add gift cards or events pages if you sell them.

Showing prices lets guests choose before they arrive or order. Keep them in step with your printed menu and any ordering platform.

After every menu, hours or platform change, and at least once a season. Click each button on a phone, including booking, ordering and gift cards.

Their sites are public and easy to check. The patterns, such as menu pages, booking buttons and gift card links, work the same for a small neighborhood restaurant.

Possibly not. Restaurants update their sites often, so a feature we saw on 24 October 2026 may have moved or changed.

Summary

The 20 restaurant websites above share a few habits: menus you can read on a phone, a booking or ordering button where guests look first, hours and an address on the page, and clear links to gift cards and private events. Copy those patterns, test every button on a phone, and keep menus as web pages with a PDF only as an extra.
