1. Who We Are
MarketingToolsProHub (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates this website. We publish educational content, reviews, and resources related to lead generation and cold outreach.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Information you provide directly: name, email address, and message content when you subscribe, download resources, or contact us.
- Website and project enquiries: when you use the “Get a Free Website Strategy” form on our contact page, the details you enter are sent to us by email: your name and email address and, if you choose to give them, your business name, phone and WhatsApp numbers, country, business type, current website, the services you are interested in, budget range, timeline and project description. We also send an automatic confirmation email, with a copy of those details, to the email address you enter.
- How you reached the enquiry form: with each enquiry we also receive the page you came from, any campaign tags in the link you followed to our site (utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign), the service page you were viewing, and whether your browser’s time zone is in Europe. The campaign tags are held in your browser’s session storage only until you close the tab. We do not receive your IP address with your enquiry; to protect the form from spam, a one-way hashed form of it is kept on our server only for a one-hour limit on repeated submissions.
- Website Grader checks: when you use our free Website Grader, we receive the website address you enter and the business type you choose. Our server loads that website’s homepage and asks Google PageSpeed Insights to test it, then keeps the results for 24 hours so a repeat check of the same site is instant and so we can email your report. Cached results are deleted automatically after 24 hours. To protect the tool from abuse, a one-way hashed form of your IP address is kept on our server for a one-hour limit on repeated checks.
- Website Grader reports: if you ask for the full report, you give us your name, email address, business name, country and, if you choose, your WhatsApp number. We email you the report, and we receive your details together with the website checked, its results, the page you came from, any campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign) and which group of time zones your browser is in (used only to decide the order of the form fields). To limit repeated reports, a one-way hashed form of your IP address is kept for one hour and a one-way hashed form of your email address for 24 hours.
- Email list (new free tools and guides): if you sign up in the footer or on a free-tool page, we receive your email address and, if you give it, your first name, together with the page you signed up on. We store them on our server (not in any mailing service) and email you a short welcome message.
- Usage data: device type, browser information, pages viewed, approximate location (city/country), and referral source.
- Cookies and similar technologies: used for site functionality, analytics, and to understand performance of pages and links.
- Email communications: if you email us, we keep records to respond and support you.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use information for purposes such as:
- Delivering downloads (e.g., the blueprint) and sending relevant emails if you opt in.
- Responding to questions and support requests.
- Replying to website and project enquiries, and preparing any recommendations, scope or quote you ask for.
- Running Website Grader checks, emailing you the report you ask for, and following up about your website if you have asked for the report.
- Sending occasional emails about new free tools and guides to people who signed up for them.
- Understanding which pages and campaigns lead to enquiries, using the source and campaign information sent with each enquiry.
- Protecting our forms from spam and abuse.
- Operating and improving the website (performance, security, and user experience).
- Measuring and understanding content performance (what pages are useful).
- Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our terms.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA/UK, we process personal data under one or more legal bases:
- Consent: for email subscriptions and marketing messages (you can unsubscribe anytime), and for analytics cookies (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity). You give or refuse this consent with the cookie notice.
- Steps at your request before a contract: when you send us a website or project enquiry, we use your details to reply and to prepare any recommendations, scope or quote you ask for.
- Legitimate interests (Website Grader): when you ask for a Website Grader report, we use your details to send it and to contact you about the results. You can ask us at any time not to contact you again.
- Legitimate interests: to operate, secure, and improve our site and content, including protecting our forms from spam and abuse.
- Legal obligations: when we must retain data for compliance or lawful requests.
5. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We may share information with:
- Service providers: email delivery, hosting, and analytics providers that help us run the site.
- Our hosting provider, 20i: our website and email are hosted by 20i Ltd in the UK. Enquiries sent through our contact form and Website Grader reports are processed on 20i’s servers and delivered through 20i’s email service.
- Google PageSpeed Insights: when you run a Website Grader check, the website address you enter is sent to Google’s PageSpeed Insights service so it can test that page. No other details about you are sent to Google by the grader.
- Analytics providers: to understand traffic and site usage patterns.
- Affiliate partners: if you click affiliate links, the vendor may record a referral for commission purposes.
- Legal and safety reasons: to comply with law, enforce policies, or protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
6. Affiliate Links and Tracking
Some links on the Site may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you purchase through them, at no additional cost to you. Affiliate partners may use cookies or similar technology to attribute purchases. For details, see our Affiliate Disclosures.
7. Cookies
Cookies help us:
- Remember preferences and improve site functionality.
- Understand traffic and usage to improve content.
- Measure performance of pages and links.
On your first visit we ask whether you accept these cookies. If you choose Decline, our own cookies are removed and are not set again, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are switched off, and the whole site stays usable. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page; if you switch to Decline, Google Analytics and Clarity stop straight away and their cookies are deleted.
Analytics cookies. We use Google Analytics (provided by Google) and Microsoft Clarity (provided by Microsoft) to understand how the site is used — for example, which pages are read and which buttons are used. Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, which last up to 2 years. Clarity sets _clck, which lasts up to 1 year, and _clsk, which lasts 1 day.
How your choice works. If you are in the UK, the EEA or Switzerland, or your device's time zone is in Europe, Google Analytics and Clarity are not loaded at all until you click Accept. Elsewhere they run from your first visit, and clicking Decline switches them off. We pass your choice to Google using Google Consent Mode.
Our own cookies are named with an mtph_ prefix and last up to 90 days. They record a random visitor ID, your first and most recent visit dates, how you first reached the site, and which affiliate links you clicked — so we can see which recommendations are useful. They contain no name, email address or payment information.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some site features. Separately, when you follow an affiliate link, the provider you land on may set its own cookies under its own policy — that is outside our control and is how the provider decides whether a referral is credited.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including providing services, meeting legal requirements, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements. Email subscribers can unsubscribe at any time. Email-list addresses are kept until you unsubscribe (reply "unsubscribe" to any of our emails, or email us), and then deleted. Website Grader results are deleted from our server automatically after 24 hours; the report and lead notification emails are kept in our mailbox like other enquiries.

Depending on your location, you may have rights such as:
- Request access to your personal data.
- Request correction or deletion of your personal data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Request data portability (where applicable).

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our website is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
