Yoga Studio Website: What to Include and How to Build It

By MarketingToolsProHub Editorial Team  |  Last updated:  |  6 min read

What should a yoga studio website include?

A yoga studio website should show your class schedule with plain descriptions of each style and level, your prices and intro offer, and who teaches, then let people book on their phone without leaving your site. Add a first-class page, workshop and teacher training pages, and real photos of your space.

In brief

What pages does a yoga studio website need?

A yoga studio website checklist. Test each page on your own phone.

Our gym website checklist covers how a live timetable should work. For studio websites we design, see our gym and studio website design page.

How should a yoga studio describe its classes?

For someone who has never been to your studio. Names like "Vinyasa 2" or "Yin" mean little to beginners, and the class description is usually what decides whether they book.

  • Pace and effort: slow and restorative, steady, or strong and sweaty.
  • Level: who it suits, and which class to take first.
  • Heat: whether the room is heated, and what to drink and wear if it is.
  • Length and props: how long it runs and whether mats and props are provided.

Use the same labels in your booking software, so the filters on the schedule match the descriptions. A "New to yoga? Start here" link on the schedule page helps beginners pick.

How should yoga teachers present their credentials?

Accurately, and in the words the credentialing body asks for. A short bio with the teacher's training, what they teach and a real photo builds trust; a list of acronyms alone doesn't.

If your teachers are registered with Yoga Alliance, its 2025 Member Brand Guide asks members to share their registry profile link or a brief description in their bio, to avoid phrasing that implies they are endorsed or certified by Yoga Alliance, and says the Yoga Alliance lotus logo is not for member use without explicit permission. Credential marks such as RYT are for teachers who hold that designation. Other bodies have their own rules, so check with each one.

Link each bio to that teacher's classes on the schedule, so a visitor who likes a teacher can book straight away.

Which booking software suits a yoga studio?

One that embeds its schedule, intro offer and sign-up cleanly on your site. Most yoga studio software does; compare how it looks on a phone and what it costs.

Published starting prices, checked 12 October 2026 on each vendor's own page: Mindbody (US pricing post), Arketa and Momence. Card processing is extra.
SoftwarePublished starting priceWebsite notes
Mindbody$79 a month per location in the US (Starter)Includes a website with a booking widget
ArketaListed as $49 a month billed annually (Individual, one team member), currency not stated by the vendor; studio plans priced on requestEmbeddable booking widgets; on-demand video library
MomenceNo published price; quoted after a callAsk how its schedule embeds on your site

Test the schedule page with the widget in place: Google's guidance is for the main content to appear within 2.5 seconds. Our guide to connecting Mindbody to your website explains widgets versus the API.

How should workshops and teacher trainings appear on the site?

As their own pages, because people search for them and they're often your highest-value sales. A single "Events" list with a date and a "Book" button rarely answers enough.

  1. Workshops and retreats: the date, length, who it suits, the teacher, the price and what's included, with booking through your software.
  2. Teacher trainings: the schedule across weeks or months, the curriculum, the lead trainers, the total price and payment options, and an application or enquiry form.
  3. After the event: leave a short summary and photos, and point to the next date.

What are common yoga studio website mistakes?

  • The schedule is a PDF or an image, so it's out of date and invisible to Google.
  • Beautiful stock photos of beaches instead of your room and teachers.
  • Prices only inside the booking app.
  • No "new to yoga" path, so beginners guess and book the wrong class.
  • A Google Business Profile with different hours from the website. Google bases local results mainly on relevance, distance and popularity, so keep both complete and matching.

What does a yoga studio website cost?

Your booking software is a monthly cost; the website may come with it, from a website builder, or be built for you. Our guide to gym and studio website costs compares the options, and our guide to builders vs software websites vs custom sites helps you choose.

With us, a custom yoga studio website with your booking software's widgets embedded is our Custom Business Website, from $5,000; with a booking flow built into the site, it's our Website + Booking System, from $7,500. You get a fixed written quote after a free discovery call, and a build typically takes around 2 months.

These are approximate figures based on published pricing and industry reports at the time of writing. Your actual cost depends on your scope and will be confirmed after a free discovery call with us.

See it in action. Our demo Forge Athletics gym website includes a mobility and yoga class in its timetable, coach profiles and a free first-session form. It's a demo we built, not a client project. Check your current site with our free gym website grader.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Put the intro offer, drop-in, class packs and memberships on one page, so people can decide without messaging you.

It helps if you write about things people search for locally, such as beginner guides or what a class style is like. Skip it if you can't keep it going.

Only if you will record and update them regularly. Some booking software includes a video library you can link to.

Your actual room in good light, a real class from a few angles, and a clear portrait of each teacher.

Yes, and it's worth it: people search for teachers by name, and a page that links to their classes turns that search into a booking.

Claim and complete your Google Business Profile, choose the right category and keep it matching your website. Google explains how local ranking works.

Summary

A yoga studio website should explain every class for a beginner, show prices and the intro offer on a web page, present teachers accurately (Yoga Alliance asks members not to imply certification or endorsement), and let people book from a phone without leaving your site. Give workshops and teacher trainings their own pages, and use real photos.
